Canon has launched new black-and-white and colour devices for the print-for-pay and light production commercial print environments. The devices are ENERGY STAR® qualified and offer very competitive total energy consumption ratings, as well as accommodating an array of finishing options that include punching, folding, inserting, collation and saddle finishing with trimming.
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8200 Series is a family of high-performance black-and-white digital imaging devices for the light production market. Featuring newly developed pO toner, based on imagePRESS black-and-white toner, the devices produce high quality text and smooth halftones. Operating at speeds of 85, 95 or 105 pages per minute (A4), the devices feature impressive output and scan speeds, as well as flexible paper handling options and media support.
Building on the success of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9000 Series, the new Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9280 PRO offers the light production market a sustainable design with low energy consumption, increased productivity and a wider range of finishing options. It features a new on-demand fusing technology that has reduced warm-up time to 31 seconds. It can operate at speeds of up to 80 pages per minute in black-and-white and up to 70 pages per minute in colour, making it well suited to ad hoc jobs, short-run work and business applications such as training materials, presentation handouts, reports, dissertations, newsletters, booklets and brochures.
